Our directors are dedicated to the mission of Hope Returned. They bring the spirit of hope to those in need around them, and are constantly seeking ways to improve their community.
Jeanne Kennedy, CPA
Jeanne is the Vice President and Corporate Treasurer for CareFirst, Inc. In this role since 2004, the Villanova University graduate is responsible for strategic initiatives, investment management, enterprise risk management, broker compensation and financial planning and analysis. Jeanne lives in Ellicott City with her two college aged children, Neill and Paige, and her two goldendoodles, Coco and Champ.
While undergoing breast cancer treatment in 2009, “I became acutely aware of the power of positive thinking and having hope. Hope Returned allows me to give back to others in need.”
Robert D. Reid, PE, BSEE
Bob is the Vice President of TiePoint-bkm, LLC. Headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, TiePoint-bkm is one of the nation’s leading designers of corporate mission critical data centers. Established in 1994, TiePoint has designed data centers for many Fortune 500 companies whose business mission requires concurrently maintainable or fault tolerant 24×7 facilities. Bob is a Registered Professional Engineer in seven states with over 30 years of experience in the industry.

Bryan Scott is an attorney and lives with his spouse Laura on a farm on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. They have three children and a chocolate lab named Bayleigh. Bryan is a cancer survivor, having been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in 2010. “I was given hope by my family and friends. It is now my opportunity to return hope to our community.”
